Which metrics belong in a weekly SEO sprint report?

Author: Yılmaz Saraçsprint-raporuseo-metriklerisearch-consolehaftalik-raporlama

Short answer: A weekly sprint report is not a ranking table; it is a report on work done and leading indicators: shipped tasks, indexing status, visibility signals, and technical health, while decision metrics are read over longer windows.

Report blocks

  • Production: published and updated pages, completed technical tasks; this is the sprint input.
  • Indexing: submitted and indexed URLs, coverage errors, and pages discovered but not yet crawled.
  • Visibility: Search Console impressions and clicks compared with the previous 7 days and, where possible, the same week last year.
  • Query coverage: new queries receiving their first impressions and query diversity per page.
  • Anomalies: CTR drops, position volatility, and micro conversion changes, each with interpretation.

Do not overinterpret weekly ranking volatility. TYS Digital Performance uses the weekly report for action tracking and the 28-day window for decisions.
